I ended up returning one of the plugs I ordered, i was expecting it to be a bit of a hassle. But the process was simple, and the refund came through quickly. No complaints from me.

I reached out to support and they replied quickly, which was nice because I was checking my email in between making coffee and trying to get a few other things done. The issue is mostly fixed now, so overall I’m satisfied with how it went

I spent about an hour trying to get the app to connect to my plug, and it just wouldn’t work. The instructions seemed simple enough, but the app kept failing at the same step. That part was weird and frustrating...

Setting this thing up was annoying. The app was confusing to get through, and the plugs kept disconnecting for no clear reason. I kept thinking, how is this okay for something that should be simple to use?

"Good price, but a few frustrations"
I’ve used a few gosund plugs now, and they’re decent for the price. They’re cheap and usually do what they’re supposed to, so I can’t be too mad. Setup was more annoying than I expected though, and one of the plugs randomly disconnects sometimes. I also had to wait in a queue for support, which was frustrating when I just wanted a quick fix. Overall, not a bad deal, but definitely not perfect

"The discounts were kind of confusing"
At first, the prices seemed decent, but the whole discount setup was a bit of a mess. The coupon wouldn’t apply to the item I actually wanted, and by checkout the total ended up being higher than I expected. it wasn’t really worth the hassle for me, so I’ll probably shop somewhere else next time.

"Feels cheap, honestly kind of on them"
I wanted to like it, but the build quality just isn’t there. The plastic feels really cheap, and the whole thing doesn’t feel sturdy at all. After using it for a little while, it already seems worn out, which is disappointing. Feels like they cut corners on this one. I wouldn’t buy it again...

"I picked up a couple of Gosund..."
I picked up a couple of Gosund plugs mostly so I could use them with Google Assistant, and overall they’ve been solid. Setup wasn’t bad, though I did have to relink the app once before Google finally picked up all the devices, which was a little annoying but not a huge deal.
Compared with other smart plugs people seem to use, these feel about average to a bit better for the price. Most days I can just say, "turn off the living room lamp," and it works right away. Every now and then there’s a slight delay, but nothing that makes me regret buying them. I’d give them 4 stars because they do the job well, just not perfectly...

"I bought this smart plug expecting..."
I bought this smart plug expecting something simple, but the app asks for way more permissions than I’m used to with similar devices. The plug itself works okay and I haven’t had major issues with it turning on or off, but compared to other smart home apps I’ve used, this one feels a bit too nosy. The privacy info didn’t really reassure me either. For something as basic as a smart plug, I just don’t feel great handing over that much access. I’ll probably stick with other brands next time.

"Pretty reliable for my everyday plug setup"
I started using this to control a couple of plugs around the house, mostly for lamps and a fan, and it’s been working well overall. Most days I just open the app, tap what I need, and everything turns on or off without any drama. Every now and then there’s a tiny lag where I’m waiting a second and wondering if it heard me, but it usually catches up quickly. Nothing fancy, but it does what I need it to do.

"WiFi has been solid overall"
I had a few WiFi drops in the beginning, but once I moved it a bit closer to the router, it’s stayed connected really well. that part felt avoidable if I’d placed it better from the start. The app also reconnects quickly, so I don’t have much to complain about.

Ive been using a couple of Gosund plugs, and the energy numbers seem close to what my meter shows. Theyre not spot on every single time, but for keeping an eye on day to day usage, its been good enough for me.

"Feels like the app is working against me"
The devices themselves work alright, but the app makes everything way more frustrating than it needs to be. It lags at the worst times, the menus are confusing, and I felt like I was stuck figuring things out on my own. Setup took way longer than it should have, and by the end I was just annoyed because it felt like nothing was made easy for the user

"I ordered a couple of smart plugs..."
I ordered a couple of smart plugs from gosund.com thinking they’d probably show up quickly, like within a few days or so, but the shipping ended up being way slower than I expected and I kept checking like maybe it would suddenly move.
The tracking was not very helpful either, it barely updated and I was basically just guessing where the package even was, then it finally showed up almost two weeks later which was frustrating because I kind of needed them sooner.
The plugs themselves work fine and I don’t really have any complaints about the product, but the whole delivery experience kind of took the excitement out of it for me, I might order again someday if they get the shipping figured out.

"Fine for small stuff, but I wouldn’t push it"
I used this plug with a small lamp and it seemed totally fine at first, so my brain kind of filed it under “works as expected.” But when I tried it with a heater, it got warm quickly and then shut itself off. That was enough of a red flag for me. I know the rating says it should handle more, but my simple rule of thumb now is: if it heats up, I don’t trust it. I wouldn’t use it again for anything higher power.

"Firmware update made it more of a hassle"
My plug was working totally fine until the latest firmware update. Then suddenly the app kept saying it was offline, and I had to reset the thing twice just to get it connected again. Annoying.
Support did reply, but it was basically the same troubleshooting steps I had already tried. It’s working now, kind of, but the timers still don’t always behave right. Meh. Not terrible, just frustrating.

"Still getting kicked out after asking for a simple fix"
I keep getting logged out of my account for no clear reason, and it’s getting annoying. I’ve asked for help with this basic issue, but it feels like it’s just being ignored. Logging in shouldn’t be this much of a hassle every time.
